Hello everybody,
I am
trying to work with two classes of objects in an image and I have
different kinds of trouble.
- 1) I define the
objects of the first class with the "automatic bright objects"
option of the count/size command, then I would like to define the objects
of the second class by using the "manual range selection". But
by doing this it seems that I lose the
1st class objects. In
“measurement data” I can view only the data of one class or the other but
not both at the same time.
2) After having
defined the second class objects (with manual range selection), I want to
add some objects by drawing AOIs and converting them to objects. But they
are converted into first class objects, and I don’t see where I could
indicate that I want them to be objects of the second class.
3) The third kind of
problem concerns the labelling of objects. My objects are biological
cells and each cell contains a nucleus. I want to know for each of them
the area of the cell and the area of its nucleus. If I define two classes
of objects (one for cells and one for nuclei), they are labelled
independently and I have to make manually the correspondance between the
area of a cell and the area of its nucleus (which has got a different
number). Is there a way of doing this with IPP ?
I imagine
there are many applications where the relations between objects have to
be taken into account.
Thank you very much if someone can help,
Catherine
