ImagePro>Bizarre problem

Dear IPP users,

I would very much appreciate if you can help me to understand and solve the following new problem that I have:
I save a new image, lets call it a.jpg (using the lowest jpg compression level, of 1). I exit the IPP4.5 software. After a few minutes, the respective a.jpg file changes its attribute to a.jpg.vbs. From that point, I can’t open this file anymore. I understand that this is a VBS script format. My questions are as following:
1.	What could be the reason for this new aberrant behavior of my computer? (actually all my jpg files that I have, in all directories, have changes to vbs files.
2.	Is it possible to stop this behavior?
3.	Is it possible to reverse these changed files to the original jpg formats an to regain my images?
