I am sure you will get an official reply from Media Cybernetics, but 
I can say that I ran 4.1 on win2000 without problems -- I did not use
capture drivers but I did use the TWAIN interface.

I believe that 4.5 official supports use under win2000, and if you have
4.1 you can upgrade to 4.5.
