RE: ImagePro>IPPv4 install prob

Hello Francis,

Do you have anything other than a printer plugged into the key? Items like
scanners or zip drives can burn out the key.

Does your key still work on the old machine? If so, then there is a problem
with your Parallel Port Mode. Make sure that your Parallel Port Mode is set
to bi-directional if that is an option, otherwise choose something other
than ECP or EPP. You can do this in the BIOS; during startup press the key
(generally F1, F2, or Delete) to enter setup. Navigate through the BIOS
using your arrow keys and look for Peripherals and Parallel Port Mode.

Some of the newer Dells have a limited number of Parallel Port Modes that
are not compatible with the HASP keys. You may need to contact Dell or
download a BIOS upgrade from their website.

If this does not fix the problem, download HASPdg.exe as well as the new
HASP drivers from our website -- http://www.mediacy.com/tech/update.htm
(look under HASP drivers). HASPdiag is a diagnostic tool that will tell you
if your key is recognized. A box listing all of your parallel ports will
appear and next to each port it will say yes or no, as to whether the key
was recognized. If it says no, you probably have a bad key that will need
to be replaced. Please call Customer Service at 301-495-3305 to get a
replacement key.
