    Scope and purpose

    This policy applies to how Media Cybernetics processes personal data and personal information of our employees and where applicable, our customers. All supervisors are responsible for enforcing this policy and our employees are trained to be familiar with and comply with Media Cybernetics’s data privacy policy and procedures.

    The purpose of this policy is to inform employees and customers of the principles under which Media Cybernetics processes personal data and personal information.

    Media Cybernetics is a privacy conscious organization and is committed to your personal right to privacy. Our policy adheres to international data protection legislation. We only collect personal information that is specifically and voluntarily provided by a user to us. A visitor may choose to become a user and provide information to register for ordering goods or services, or to apply for a job using our career portal. In certain situations, data is transmitted anonymously so that the names of the individuals are not known by data processors within Media Cybernetics.     Choice – Media Cybernetics will not send you marketing emails without your consent and such consent may be withdrawn at any time. The online submission of requests for quote or requests for more information will be responded to by Media Cybernetics or its authorized distributor for follow up.

    Onward Transfer (to Third Parties) – Media Cybernetics may transfer information to a third party acting as an agent or business partner of Media Cybernetics by making sure that the third party enters into an agreement with Media Cybernetics in which the third party promises to provide similar protection as Media Cybernetics’s privacy policy. Occasionally, Media Cybernetics may also be required to disclose certain personal data to other third parties as a matter of law; to protect Media Cybernetics’s legal rights; or in an emergency where health or security of an individual is endangered.

    Access – An individual has a right to inquire as to the nature of the personal data stored or processed about him or her by Media Cybernetics or a third party vendor.
