Our products simplify and enhance image-based data collection and analysis for those who wish to increase accuracy and automate research, development, and quality processes.

Scientists and engineers use Media Cybernetics' image capture, processing, and analysis solutions across numerous industries, including Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Materials Research, Natural Resources, Security, and Pathology.

For more than 30 years, Image-Pro products has enabled researchers to capture, communicate, process, measure and analyze image data. We offer a robust line of application-specific imaging software solutions based on our Image-Pro Platform, including pre-bundled and add-on modules and extensions that form a comprehensive solution for our customers.

Founding

Media Cybernetics founded by entrepreneur and developer, William E. Strum

1988
Image-Pro Plus v1.0

Image-Pro Plus launches as one of the first PC-based software products for image processing

1994
Market Expansion

Angel Investor acquisition leads to  investment into adjacent markets, such as Materials & Array analysis

2001
Shift to Public

Acquired by Roper Industries, Inc (NYSE: ROP) as a subsidiary of its Scientific & Industrial Imaging Group
